        The D-Fusion series independently developed by Gushu Technology is a new generation of cluster storage system. It adopts open unified storage architecture and is based on PRODIGY storage file system designed for high performance environment. It is built for international leading performance and security.         The D-Fusion 8000 Series is a high-end clustered network storage system for the National, Large Enterprise Computing Center and Commercial High Performance Computing (HPC) markets. It not only has the high performance, high reliability and scalability of enterprise storage, but is no less inferior to any enterprise storage in terms of function and application.。

Unified storage architecture
        The D-Fusion 8000 unified storage system can be composed of a single D-Fusion 8000 high-performance storage controller to form a single-controller storage system. It can also be composed of 2 to 24 high-performance storage controllers to form a high-availability cluster storage system. IP SAN or even FC SAN storage network;
        D-Fusion 8000 storage controller can provide GigE, 10GigE, FC, InfinibandVarious host interfaces, Ethernet interfaces support link aggregation(LACP Trunking)。The D-Fusion 8000 unified storage system provides optimized CIFS, NFS v2/v3/v4, FTP and HTTP access modes, and supports a mix of Linux, Unix, Windows, Solaris, IBM AIX and other operating systems in a TCP/IP network.         The D-Fusion 8000 unified storage system supports solid state drives (SSDs), FC disks, SAS disks, or SATA disks. It supports the mixing of different types of disks in a single system and supports hot swapping of disks.。

        The D-Fusion 8000 unified storage system uses a leading cluster storage architecture to increase the system bandwidth linearly by increasing the number of storage controllers. Currently, a D-Fusion 8200 cluster can stably support 24 storage controllers, which can achieve more than 100GB/s continuous bandwidth (access via NFS or CIFS) and more than 7,200,000 OPS. This makes the D-Fusion 8200 a high-end enterprise-class unified cluster storage system with excellent performance in the industry.;
        The D-Fusion 8000 unified storage system can meet the high bandwidth requirements of large file services, and can provide frequent reading, writing and requesting of large files and databases, and can easily open and access large directories containing more than 10 million files.。

Hardware layer

System layer

D-Fusion RAID is created very fast, usually no more than 10 seconds. RAID 6 prevents data loss or corruption in the event of simultaneous damage to both disks.        The D-Fusion 8000 uses the PRODIGY-UP file system to be very robust, maintaining consistency even in extreme situations such as sudden power outages or system crashes, and automatically recovers quickly when the system is rebooted. The D-Fusion 8000 does not have a separate metadata server. All metadata is managed by the controller and distributed on disk for the same reliability protection as the data. This approach is far more reliable than a separate metadata server, because the latter interrupts the business when the metadata server crashes, and it takes a long time to complete a file system consistency check task like fsck, and more serious because of metadata. Get full recovery and cause some or all of the data to be corrupted or lost。
Architecture layer
       Multiple D-Fusion 8000 storage controllers are interconnected to form a high-availability cluster. The cluster working mode is Active-Active, that is, all controllers can provide data access at the same time, and the traditional active/standby mode (Active- Compared to Standby), the performance of data storage is significantly improved. At the same time, the two or more controllers are hot standby, and any one of them fails, and the other can automatically and continuously take over the task of the fault controller and the data managed, and this is completely taken over. The process is completely transparent to the client. This guarantees 7x24 business continuity. Multi-level data protection scheme

        Local backup: Provides NDMP protocol with Commvault, Veritas, Bakbone and other backup servers to implement LAN-free centralized incremental backup of data from D-Fusion system to tape library.;
        Remote disaster recovery: MagicMirror performs near-synchronous disaster recovery and recovery through LAN or WAN;
        Storage Encryption: MagicVault supports high-performance encryption and global key management to protect confidential information even when data is stolen. Real-time encryption ensures data security inside the storage system, even if the disk is lost。

Thin provisioning and space management
        The D-Fusion 8000 storage controller virtualizes all storage space into a shared mass storage pool. As long as there is access, all spatial resources and data can be shared by any front-end computing node or application server. Users do not need to manage any underlying devices separately, such as disks, RAID, or logical volumes (LUNs);
       The D-Fusion 8000 unified storage system supports the automatic thin provisioning function to dynamically expand the volume size without the need for a preset volume capacity, which does not affect system operation and greatly improves space utilization.
       D-Fusion 8000s virtualized unified storage pool technology combined with thin provisioning technology greatly improves space utilization, and effectively avoids copying and copying of data through high-performance data sharing services and space-consuming snapshot and clone services. Hybrid storage and tiered storage management

Simply connect the Gigabit/10 Gigabit interface of the D-Fusion 8000 controller to the core IP switch through a standard network cable, configure a simple IP address, and configure LACP link aggregation.         All the compute nodes and client servers on the front end do not need to install any client software. Non-Windows servers only need to do a simple NFS mount.
